The Rooms
We offer four beautifully decorated guest rooms with newly updated private baths and air-conditioning. There are two king rooms (one with Jacuzzi™ tub and fireplace), a queen room with additional day bed, and one room with a double bed. All rooms are well appointed with amenities suited to the comfort of our guests, including: locking doors, closets, luggage racks, high thread count luxury linens, customized toiletries, hair dryers, bottled water, wine glasses and cork screws, chocolates, coffee makers with Green Mountain coffee supplied, Home medics alarm clocks with nature sounds, reading lamps, and wireless high speed internet access for your laptop. (All guest rooms are located on the second floor of the inn.)

The Delphinium Room - $145 per night
Named for the graceful Delphinium, our spacious front guest room, which catches the early morning light and has a view of Penobscot Bay, is tastefully decorated in hues of lavender and purple with accents of gold. This room also boasts its original wide plank pumpkin pine floors, an ensuite bath and a relaxing, romantic in-room Jacuzzi tub with hand held shower, white iron King bed with an all cotton quilt, down comforter and choice of down or fiber fill pillows, a warming chimney free electric fireplace, a comfy overstuffed leather chair, and cable TV/VCR combo to check the news and weather or watch a movie in the privacy of your room. |

The Sage Room - $129 per night
Originally two rooms, this spacious guest room is decorated in the cool and relaxing colors of Sage with rich crimson accents. It overlooks the old brick patio, container gardens, and sitting area adjoining the side porch. Complete with original wide plank pumpkin pine floors and a sitting area, the Sage Room offers a white iron King bed with an all cotton quilt, down comforter, and your choice of down or fiber filled pillows. Also included is a TV/VCR combo so you can check the news and weather or watch a movie in the privacy of your room. It has a private ensuite bathroom with shower and a pedestal sink which is located outside the bath area for your convenience.

The Viola Room - $119 per night (Additional charge of $20 for use of second bed)
This charming guest room named after the “flower for all seasons” is well appointed and resplendent in pleasing shades of blue and white. With a view of the perennial gardens and sun-dappled lawn, the glow of the afternoon sun in this room will warm your soul.
The Viola has a white iron Queen bed with all cotton quilt, down comforter, and choice of down or fiber fill pillows. It has an additional day bed for relaxing or accommodating a third person. For your comfort, in addition to air conditioning, this room also has a ceiling fan. Cable television is provided as well for your enjoyment.

The Buttercup Room - $89 per night
An old superstition says that if you hold a buttercup under your face, and yellow light is reflected on your face, it means that you like butter.
This, the smallest of our guest rooms, is aptly named for the sunny buttercup. Bathed in afternoon sunlight, this cheery room has a double bed with an all cotton quilt, down comforter, and ensuite bath with shower. A Governor Winthrop antique desk and chair add to the ambience, as does the view of the perennial gardens and sun-dappled lawn. |
