Seeking a lifestyle change and sharing a love of cooking,
gardening, and decorating, innkeepers Cathy Keating and Deb Bush
left accounting careers with a major corporation in Seattle and
purchased the Wildflower Inn in May of 2004. They packed up their home and C J
Manley (the cat) and headed east.
Since that time, they have added a knowledge of horsehair plaster;
skim coating, tiling, painting techniques, and hardscaping to their
repertoire.
Renovations have been completed on all four guest rooms and the
kitchen, but old homes being what they are, more renovations are
sure to follow!
C J Manley passed away in May of 2005, and missing the
pitter-patter of little kitty feet, Cathy and Deb added Jakey, now
a twelve-pound bundle of fuzz, to the family.
Cathy and Deb love the inn life! They delight in laughing with
their guests and have a great talent for making them feel at
home.
